Darren Bartlett Represents a Kaleidoscope of Musical Talent!

A lifetime of musical experience and published works that include arrangements for choirs, solo voice, piano and ensembles, recognised choral composer DMB's talents do not stop there. With an aptitude for vocal coaching, and a gift for vocal performance and Piano it will come as no surprise that Darren's work is popular across the globe.
With a complex catalogue of over 200 titles and three full-length stage musicals to his credit Darren's works have been performed and recorded in many arenas worldwide and have featured on both BBC Television and Radio. Until 1995 each composition and arrangement was handwritten, some of which have been auctioned off for charity over the years.
The growing interest in Darren's ability, his unique sound and requests for his music brought about the launch of his first website in 2005, allowing the sought after music to be viewed, ordered and commissioned worldwide.
As a solo artist Darren has toured overseas and has performed at The Hollywood Bowl, The Roy Thompson Hall & The Ford Centre, Toronto as well as many European venues, and at many prestigious UK venues including Glasgow Royal Concert Hall, Birmingham Symphony Hall, Bridgewater Hall Manchester, The Royal Festival and The Royal Albert Hall in London. Internationally he has appeared on Canadian TV and his music has featured on US TV channels.
His very first composition 'Little Baby', written at only age seven, paved the way for many more memorable compositions to follow and in 2002 he was approached to write ‘SONG OF PEACE’ (Lyrics Dr. Wayne Bartlett) which was recorded by the BBC Choir Boy of the year in December 2002, selling over 30,000 copies, with performances stretching from Scandinavia to the USA. This recording features James Eager, the Llandaff Cathedral Choir and the BBC National Orchestra of Wales.
With such an eclectic range of natural abilities and a multi faceted approach to music Darren never fails to keep the listener interested and in December 2016, he released his first Orchestral composition 'Star of Bethlehem' (Vale/Worley), performed by Magna Sinfonia & Salvacosta, captivating the audience with his unique and distinguishable style.

A true believer in the gift of music, Darren is dedicated to passing on his knowledge and experience to future generations and teaches his children’s vocal group Dynamix on a weekly basis. His motivational approach is successful in encouraging these youngsters to strive for vocal excellence! He is incredibly proud of these talented young vocalists (aged just 6-12years). In addition, he is the vocal coach for The Dorset School Acting & teaches a BA Honours class at the Arts University, Bournemouth.
Darren spent 17 years working with and developing Salvacosta Vocal Harmony Group with whom he produced 4 albums, received a standing ovation at ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent and were three time Heat Winners and 2014 Catagory Finalists at the prestigious National Choir of the Year competition. Not just content with providing beautiful music and stunning performances, Darren with Salvacosta, sought to have a positive impact on the lives of others, and in their time together raised a commendable £50,000 for local charities.
With a solid foundation, a clear vision and many exciting projects already on the go, Darren is now totally driven to make MUZARIA, his new Vocal Ensemble, a huge success!
