It is now possible for you to have a 'musical work' written especially for you or your choir.
Your arrangement or original composition can be individually tailored for your group’s particular strengths and weaknesses. All elements including range, key, style, mood and tempo can be specified. Imagine having your very own commissioned musical work to premiere.
Often, purchased sheet music is difficult to master for a variety of reasons. For example, you may have a wonderful Men's section but your Sopranos can't sing above a certain note. You may have soaring Sopranos who effortlessly reach the highest ranges but your Basses can't sing below a bottom G. With this option now available to you, we can make your choir sound even better by formatting the music to show off the characteristics of your finest voices. You can specify the range to be written for each unique section of your choir.
RATES
CONSULTATION / AUDIO TRANSCRIPTION : £53.31 per hour
ARRANGING & COMPOSITIONAL RATES (9am to 9pm)
CATEGORY A - £4.59 per bar Up to 6 Players (SATB + Piano) (Piano + solo voice the rate is the same)
CATEGORY B - £5.34 per bar 7-14 Players
CATEGORY C - £6.87 per bar 15 - 27 Players
CATEGORY D - £7.63 per bar 28 - 60 Players
CATEGORY E - £9.21 per bar 60+ players (in a conventional ensemble eg Symphony Orchestra)
CATEGORY F - £9.91 per bar 60+ players (in a compound ensemble (eg orchestra & choir) or unconventional line-up)
ORIGINAL MATERIAL
Standard Hourly Rate (9am to 9pm) - £33.12 per hour
Original Composition or Compositional Element of Arrangement ( i.e. Creative writing/arranging)
- Price Per Bar 100% extra / doubled
(Music Only - set to your words or words within the public domain).
Jingles, Signature Tunes, Radio/TV Idents etc - 100% extra / doubled
Night rate / Public Holidays (9pm until completion - only when enforced by client) - 100% extra / doubled
Expenses (Incurred at the request of client, including collection and delivery) - At Cost
PLEASE NOTE
You may to choose to commission work based on price per bar, price per hour, or price per title (at our discretion).
Repeated bars/sections are not charged.
Polyphonic instruments such as Harp or Piano each count as two players.
Copyright is retained by DMB Music unless otherwise stated.
